Agent Mandate

• ■ Unknown customer - no matching account. Routed to sales as a lead; the agent never invents an account.
• ■ Unauthorised sender - known company, but the sender is not an authorised purchasing contact.
• ■ Credit-blocked account - polite hold message to the buyer, internal notification to finance. The buyer is never told "credit blocked".
• ■ Above the hard stop limit - no autonomous or approval path in this workflow.
• ■ Substitution outside the approved list - including buyers who reject the approved substitute and ask for open-ended alternatives.

Before any order is placed, deterministic code runs eight checks. The model cannot argue with them, and the values you set above feed checks 5, 6 and 7.

1. 1Buyer authorisation - the sender must be an authorised purchasing contact for the account.
2. 2Credit status - the account must be in good standing with headroom for the order.
3. 3Contract price - every line must match the customer's contract price. Model-supplied prices are ignored.
4. 4Inventory - quantities must be available, unless an approval covers a split or backorder plan.
5. 5Value limits - the autonomous limit and the hard stop set above.
6. 6Substitution policy - only listed substitutes, and only with a signature.
7. 7Minimum order quantity - below-minimum lines need approval.
8. 8Approval line binding - an approval covers exactly the lines approved. Any change needs a fresh one.

Channel adapters normalise every source into the same inbound commerce request: sender identity, message text, conversation reference. The agent core and this mandate apply unchanged to every channel.
